Choppy, glitchy dvr playback especially at night

Anyone else getting this? It’s ridiculous. The screen freezes the sound keeps going and then the screen does this weird alien like thing as it catches up and this happens every night lately. We pretty much only watch recorded stuff, not live tv so this is super super annoying.

Sounds like a bad hard drive, swap out your dvr
