I am no longer able to rewind the dvr when I first turn it on in the morning. I also cannot rewind what’s on in the background after watching a recorded show like I used to be able to do. Someone gave a suggestion to turn off cec in power settings but I don’t even have that as an option.

Power save is off. I found another post where someone else has the same issue. Apparently it’s due to an update
check your set top box CEC setting to be sure it is off.
I saw that mentioned somewhere else, I don’t have that option, at least not under the setting the other post mentioned
xfinity button >> gear (settings) >> Device Settings >> Power Preferences >> HDMI Device Control - CEC (change to off)
