Audio cuts out on certain channels

i am having problem with my audio cutting out on certain channels at random times. i checked the SAP settings, the TV speakers, the cords and nothing fixed it. I have the tv turned up to 30 (normally i have it at max of 20) and still can barely hear anything. but i changed to a different channel and i have to hit the mute button so my eardrums don't blow.

i think. i'm not sure. i know it has the blue light on its side, but its a very small box, maybe 4x4
