Amazon Prime

Is anyone having issues with the Amazon Prime app?? When we are trying to select a show or scroll through options we’re having to click on the remote multiple times to get it to register with what we want on the app. Also when we start a show and try to skip the intro we are hitting the “ok” button on the remote multiple times. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. The remote works well will all other apps and regular cable so we know it’s not the remote itself. Anyone else having issues or know what to do?

This happens to me every day.  I thought it was my remote or DVR.  Then I started to see it on the DVR slave unit also, so it has to be the app.

 

Anyone from Comcast have information on this and when it will be fixed?

It is an issue with the Amazon app. I normally use a universal remote, and the OK key does not work reliably, if at all, for the Amazon app? The XR15 remote works fine. I tried learning the code the XR15 is sending, and it's sort of weird. A direct learn does work, but will NOT work with a DTA, which is supposed to use the same code set. Also, when I tried to decode it to program my regular universal remote, it came up as several different codes mixed together.

Hello all! Good afternoon. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention! This is definitely one of those odd technical instances that we definitely want to look further into. Thanks for bearing with it, as it does sound frustrating. It's good to know and it helps to narrow things down knowing that your remote and functionality works well outside of the app. It may very well be an issue with the app itself that needs to be corrected. Even though the rest of the functionality on the system works, has anyone tried doing a manual rest on the equipment and/or a system refresh just to see if it made any difference whatsoever?
