Amazon Prime app not registering account

Hi there, I just had Xfinity X1 installed last week and am having difficulty setting up the Amazon Prime app. I enter the code provided by the X1 app on the amazon.com/mytv site, and the X1 app says it can't register my account due to a certificate issue. Any ideas on how to fix this? TIA!

What device and browser are you using accessing the amazon.com site?  Are you using HTTPS:// for security and/or does it show a secured connection (lock icon)?

What device and browser are you using accessing the amazon.com site?  Are you using HTTPS:// for security and/or does it show a secured connection (lock icon)?

I am having this same exact issue on the X1 Platform, oddly enough I can regsiter my same Amazon Prime account using my Roku TV that is connected to my same Comcast Gateway.  Yes, it shows the secure website.  The issue is not Amazon site, the issue is the X1 Prime Video certificate itself., soon as you launch the Amazon Prime app from the X1 box, you immediately get the "We can't complete your sign in due to a certificate error."  I have 3 X1 Devices all get the same error message.  Roku TV registred on two devices no problem.  Youtube registered no issues on the X1 Box, Netflix registered no problems on the X1 box.  It's something with Amazon Prime app on the X1 Box, not a browser issue

So, I was experiencing this same issue today.  When you get that cerficate issue error.  Click on send a new code until the "certificate error" message disappears.  Once it disappears you will be able to enter and register the X1 device.

Well, at least I'm not alone! Thanks for the response. I can still access Amazon Prime app on my apple tv, was hoping X1 would simplify access to my apps.
