Amazon Music App on TV

The Amazon Music app on X1 seems to have some issues. It is slow to start up. While listening to music, the app has dropped the connection. It is common for the beginning of a song to be missing,

; not sure if it is dropped or slow to start and misses he beginning of the song.

all connectors are tight and I have restarted both my modem and the X1 box.

 

1. Is anyone else experiencing similar?

2. Do the apps connect via the Internet or via the tv potion of the broadband?

When playing "stations" I've noticed some odd glitches like it would play a note or two of a song then skip to the next, but only rarely.

 

My impression is that the streaming apps use the internet and count as data usage.

It will not load My Music. The error message is "There is an issue loading the current page. Please refresh app." When you refresh the app, you get the same message again.
