Ad for Bergman stuck on all channels

I cannot watch any channel or recordings due to a fixed ad for Bergman car sales covering entire screen. I can hear the shows but can’t see them because the ad is on the screen. I tried a system refresh. Reset my tv and still have that same ad. Help!

Hello, @PattyH45, I'm sorry to hear about the ad. I know this must be causing a headache. This does seem very unusual, but I promise I will do all I can to help! I recommend powering off your TV and cable box and leave them off for a few minutes. Then remove the HDMI cord, (or the cord between your TV and cable box) from the TV and box and plug them back in. Once the cord is plugged back in, turn your equipment back on and make sure your TV is on the right Input.

Thank you. We tried that and it worked. I had turned off the box and rebooted the system and unplugged the modem and rebooted that and pushed the reset button on the tv. Nothing worked until we tried this. It was totally weird. I have never had that happen before. Thanks for helping.

@PattyH45 i’m having the same thing right now every time I record something it gets stuck on the ads at the beginning and I can only hear the audio but the tech on Phone was not much help because she said she never heard of the problem before. Give me a break!!!
