Call Logs cannot be deleted.

Question not answered unless we are all to assume that the hundreds of call in the call log history are meant to stay there, even if we want them deleted. Whether by using our mobile apps, or doing it actually using the landline system. I was reading this in the forum, when a very similar question was asked by another person, and answered. Is there a way to somehow delete the horrendously long list of calls in our call log history? Thank you!
