Thank you all so much for posting your concerns here in the Xfinity Forum. We are aware of this Comcast email issue and have successfully mitigated the issue. All users should no longer be experiencing this issue today, 08/15/19. Please let us know if you have any other comments or questions.

I have been getting this same error message all morning as well. The email team is supposed to be calling me back but haven't heard from them yet.

Same issue. It may stem from an outage yesterday that was nationwide. I cannot find any other articles other than that.

Comcast Jessie may be aware of the problem, but the outsourced phone support folks are not. I called earlier, went through a battery of questions, cleared the cache, etc. etc. knowing full well the problem was with the Comcast email server, not my computer. WHY ARE THE TECH SUPPORT FOLKS ALWAYS IN DENIAL? It's OK to admit there's a problem and commit to fixing it. Agree??

Still having issues. Sometimes it's Error 500. Other times it's default backend - 404. Other times it's 502 bad gateway nginx. Regardless of the error message the result is the same - I can't access my email.
