Blocked Emails

I recently discovered that a few online businesses that i've used for years have been blocked and their promotions and emails are being blocked without ever making it to my SPAM mailbox for me to verify.

I researched these forums and their seems to be something that can be done but it is never posted or explained but sent to individuals as needed.

I would like to know how to unblock specific businesses from my email account.

@mace9

These types of issues are usually unique so we will have to review them case by case. Please send me a PM or enable your PM feature so I can gather more detailed info.

To do so,

1.Slect your profile icon / picture.
2.Select My settings, preferences
3.Selct private messenger and ensure Turn on private messages is checked.

I can complete steps 1 and 2 but there isn't option for "private messenger"

Re: Blocked Emails

I cannot believe how difficult it is to get support.  I've wasted 30 minutes trying to follow the directions to allow or make a PM and it's not there as it's been explained.

After searching more topics, I see it has to be "turned on" by a comcast employee after a public post.

Can someone please allow me to continue to beg for the services I already pay to receive?

@mace9

My apologies for the delay, we are currently working to have that appear shortly. In the meantime, if you'd like you'd could post the domains of the senders if you'd like and we can review their traffic.

Re: Blocked Emails

I still cannot follow the directions to turn on private messenger.   Here are some of the contacts/domains I need unblocked.

Re: Blocked Emails

@mace9

Hello, after review of your inbound traffic, we can see messages coming from those two domains to your user profile. We have successful messages from them and to your user profile. Although no messages coming from the specific senders themselves for email.sideshow.com. The latest message shows as successfully delivered on 8/25.

This usually occurs if you are no longer on their sending list. Have you tried re subscribing to their emails? Were they able to provide any more info as to what they are seeing on their side? Such as a bounce back or anything along those lines?

Hello Edward,

Thank you so much for contacting Sideshow Support!

I am sorry to hear that you have not been receiving our communications successfully. I have investigated this matter with our Web Team, and it appears that your emails are being blocked by your email service provider, or other local inputs. According to our records, this has been flagged in our system to let us know that the recipient reported it as spam. I apologize if this comes as a surprise to you.

At this time, given that this is being blocked by an external service, there are no ways for us to circumvent this situation to resume communications. However, in the event that you would like to continue receiving them, you can update your Sideshow Account with a new email address. This can be done in your Account Settings when you are logged in. From there, you can re-sign up for our e-mail newsletter to ensure you are getting our product updates!

The only notifications we send via text are RSVP notifications to alert you of upcoming product you have signed up for. This should not have any bearing on your ability to receive text messages of this nature.

Re: Blocked Emails

HELLO...

The sites are still no being allowed to send notices that I want.

I didn't flag them as SPAM.  I can't see what websites have been identified as SPAM.  Why am I not able to decide what I want to receive for a service I pay what many would consider way too much for in the first place?
