Know about maintenance ahead of time?

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to request to know ahead of time when maintenance is performed. This is the second time our internet has been down for "maintenance". I get that it's midnight, but my boyfriend and I work late nights and like to watch Netflix or play video games when we get home. We are paying $90 a month for internet, it'd be nice if wasn't down when we want to use it.

Re: Know about maintenance ahead of time?

Hi there, Elodieme, thanks for reaching out through the Xfinity Forums platform regarding scheduled maintenance in your area. I see you are a new poster for the community! Welcome and we really appreciate your joining the conversation! I completely understand wanting to use your services when you and your boyfriend are home together! If you are experiencing any issues with your connection we recommend you check the status of service interruptions in your area via our online service status tool: https://comca.st/38IZ10r

The best way to find out about any planned maintenance would be to regularly be checking the Xfinity My Account App. Depending on when our teams are able to update any new work orders, planned interruptions may show 24-72 hours in advance. Most scheduled maintenance will take place overnight from around 12-6 am since this is when we have the least amount of users who will be affected by the interruption. Our techs are great and really try to get everything resolved as quickly as possible so you usually will not experience a service interruption for that full duration! I definitely apologize for any inconvenience in advance! Let me know if you have any additional questions! We are here to help!
