Can customers no longer call and speak to a customer representative? I know I can "chat," but I'd like to verbally speak to a real person if possible.

If only I could speak to somebody at Comcast who wants to help AND is competent.

COMCAST does not care about their customers.....They don't have to in many cases because they are the only internet provider in a certain region. They can add services without permission. Increase rates without warning. Add late fees after they cancelled automatic payments...... Just to name a few immoral and unethical, if not illegal acts.
Apologies for the issue and the experience that you described above.
As a courtesy, we have credited any data overage fees in full for the past 24 months, plus we have also credited back any other late fees and service fees charged over the past 24 months.
That credit will appear on the next month's statement.

Near the top/middle of each Forum page you will see a small envelope
This is the icon for Private Messages, referred to as ‘PM’s’. A Private Message is a way to communicate in private, to another User, Moderator, or Administrator out of public view in the Forums.
The envelope icon will have a number next to it if you have any new messages waiting.
To open a PM to read it, double click on the envelope. If you click on the envelope a window will open with tabs for your Private Message Inbox, Sent Messages, Friends, Ignored Users, and Compose new Message. You can also access this area by clicking on the Username in a Thread or post. By default, Private Messages are enabled.
