I am sick and tired of Comcast listing episodes as "New" when they are reruns -- they are even on On Demand already! In On Demand they list some shows alphabetically, which is really illogical for competition shows. Some shows you have to Search for and even then you have to open each listing to see which episode it is.

Can you share examples? Much of the metadata that determines status of content (new, repeat, etc.) comes from the owners of the content so the team who handles the OnDemand content can work with them to correct it.
Comcast gets their guide data from a 3rd party, who in turn gets their data from the networks and stations. It's up to the networks/stations to give the correct data in a timely matter. This has been an issue for as long as I've had Comcast with a cable box (2004+).
danpohlig: HA HA HA HA HA HA..............The OnDemand team will work with the content owners to correct it????? HA HA HA HA HA.
I've had conversations with Comcast representatives including the executive support team and with networks and they all just pass the buck or say they will work with others to fix it and nothing happens.
andyross: It is definitely a flawed process. There are too many "middlemen" and no one wants to take responsibility for the inconsistency, inaccuracy, and stupidity. It's amazing that you've been experiencing this for 16 years.
It only took them about 8 years to improve their billing system, so perhaps there is hope. Yeah, when h___ freezes over. 🙂 🙂
