we always watched  wpxi Pittsburg for Pa news and Steelers news and now it is gone, WHY!!!   we use to watch ERIE and that was taken off , now Pittsburgh is gone !  all we have left is Buffalo, What gives, I am paying a fortune for this service but you keep taking our channels away !!  an what is the deal with all the jewlery channels?  non of us can even afford the  GEMS channel.  Its ok that you keep increasing the monthly fees though, we should have a choice of what we pay for!!    Cpaulson

What's your ZIP Code (so we have some idea where you live, without you giving out too much information)?

I see WPXI is an NBC station; do you get any other NBC stations? If so, it may have something to do with NBC, as each network assigns a particular station to each location, which allows that station to have the network's shows blacked out on the other NBC stations that location is getting. This makes you watch the local NBC station - and, more importantly to the station, its local commercials.

However, I also see that WPXI is having similar coverage problems with Dish, so it could be a problem between Comcast and WPXI's owners - but in that case, (a) it would affect everybody that gets WPXI, which I don't think is the case, and (b) I would expect the WPXI website to say something about it.

We feel the same way. Rural Pennsylvania areas really get the wrong end of the stick. Took off Erie, left us one Pittsburgh channel, now that's gone too. Gave us Buffalo news, really stupid when you live in Pennsylvania. Now we are stuck viewing local stations that don't apply to us. Area code 16735. Wish you'd put Pittsburgh station's back on ,if not Erie as these are areas we frequent.
