WHAT in the world is wrong with the audio on TNT during the Avengers Infinity War premiere?

Looking forward to the latest Marvel movie to come on TNT and the sound is lousy!!!  My receiver shows full DD 5.1 but I get no rear speaker effects and any kind of loud or intense sound effects especially during fight scenes, there is alot of crackling or popping.  Regular dialogue or music is fine but sometimes the volume drops off suddenly but then recovers.

The other channels that are supposed to be broadcasting DD 5.1 seem to be fine.  Only TNT seems to be out of whack.  I'm hoping its something on TNT's end and they fix it.  If its comcasts problem then it would be nice if they fix it.  One more thing, the sound problems arent happening during the commercials.   I also checked all the audio settings on the cable box, my receiver and my tv.  They are all set properly.

I have a 5.1 set up and I’m only getting 2.0 on this movie on demand with TNT. It’s only is channel that I’ve noticed so far, others work fine.

I have a5.1 setup and same thing here, and unfortunately it really started on Showtime and HBO for me a month ago (there is sounded more like just single pops). I've started watching those from the HBO and Showtime apps on my Xbox instead (sound is fine watching the same shows there).

Watching avengers on TNT right now and the crackling is awful.

I tried changing to Stereo Sound in the x1v4 box options and I still get the same popping. I'm running the sounds through an HDMI cable to my receiver.

I am having the same issue. It’s an issue with TNT. I sent them a note letting them know, but hopefully they realize the sound during movies on their channel isn’t good
