WE tv channel

Why was this channel dropped?  The one channel my wife wants to watch. out oif the 1000 or so listed. I have more than BASIC subscription. There are so many channels and we  only watch about 25 of them. Is there a way to only select what channels we actually need? Why pay for ALL these xtra channels. Im sure there are a LOT of people fustrated by the way we are forced to choose into a subscription and only use about 5% of services. So , can I get the WE channel added back on without having to give my right arm? I will give you a list of our 25 most loved channels and you can remove the rest.
