Streampix - Subscription now?

Last week - I was able to go to this app "Stream Pix" and play Newsradio without any issues, I had been doing this for more than a year.

 

Last night I went to play a show and was prompted for a subscription?

Did Xfinity change this on me? I agreed to a set price and terms based on a offering.....

 

Hoping this was not a company changing a lineup silently and more just a technical issue that I can get resolved.

 

Already missing my Phil Hartman.

Called in. 
should have it with no subscription

$20 credit per month till resolved

re-fresh signal to DVR's did not resolve

waiting on call back from 2nd level

That was dissappointing - call back and they did one of two items.

Got the $20 credit.

But they never open the incident for a call back to work the issue.

 

Ugh!

 

Any Xfinity employee have any insight on to how to fix?

Mid point to resolution

 

Turns out that as I added Mobile Phone and Home Security

My TV plan was chnaged from

X1 Premier Triple Play
Includes Digital Premier, Streampix, and AnyRoom DVR
Service for Primary Outlet, HD Technology Fee, Extreme
Pro Internet and XFINITY Voice Unlimited

 

To something that does not have Streampix

 

I will visit my local store and rep to discuss as I was only buying more service, not reducing service.

 

Hope to see a resolution today

Alright mystery solved and a warning to all

 

turns out the top program tier call digital premier package had streampix included, or did.

 

Comcast removed streampix as free in that package but anyone that had that are grandfather in as long as they do not disturbe the package. 

 

I added home security and mobile and tried to leave the tv package as is. Apparently it was slightly disturbed (during the bundling) and I lost my grandfathered streampix. 

 

this was unknown to me or my local XFINITY rep, so we worked it out to my satisfaction   

but warning to all, always ask if the slightest package distruption will cause grandfather losses.  These are really tough for the local rep to know. 

I did keep the same tv package but they had to bundle and that was the disruption.
