Streaming: Peacock Merging With HBO Max?

I've been hearing through various sources that HBO Max and the Peacock streaming service could end up merging into a single streaming service. Does this mean that Peacock is becoming an "across the board' paid streaming service?

The news that has come out is that WarnerMedia and Comcast could merge into one service to compete against Disney. How does that work and will Comcast subscribers be seeing a charge for the streaming service?

I also read on Broadcasting/cable that att's warner media and Comcast may be talking of a merger between peacocks steaming app and HBO MAXstreaming app  it also said Comcast Disney and Viacomcbs also owns a very small percent Fubos tv add supported  app out of the 4 networks nbc abc cbs . fox is the only one that does not own a paid streaming app but fox did buy tubi free streaming app last year   I think we are now in Streaming Wars

I've been talking about this on other message forums that with so many streaming services that it's going to end up various services merging, perhaps even a merging of streaming services like what's offered by "traditional cabloe services" but for the internet. I hadn't heard anything about this Peacock/HBO Max possible merger of services until a few days ago when it started popping up. I heard about it through a youtube channel and did a few Google searches on it. It wasn't reddit where I found out about it

Every time some rumor surfaces, the common excuse is to blame reddit for it. They just post news from other websites where they originally heard about it from. When I saw the "news" popping up on other sites, I realized there may be somoe teeth to this "story".

Since Comcast lost the fight to acquire Fox, it would make sense for Comcast to team up with other streaming services to dethrone Disney+.
