Picture and Sound Issue

Anyone else having trouble with the picture and sound periodically going in and out for about 30 seconds or so?

I have already rest my boxes both by power resetting as well as the rest feature on my cable system.
Comcast tech services also issued a rest from the office when I called last week.

Issue appears on all boxes as well as all channels.

That’s normally a result of poor signal levels, nothing that a reset can fix. Make sure your cables are tight and in good repair, remove any extra splitters and possibly have a tech out to troubleshoot further. Unfortunately because of the pandemic, it may be awhile for a tech to get out

I have checked all the connections and we are not using any splitters.

Each TV has its own cable run to it..

Comcast customer service tried to reset from thier end and as you stated did not corret the issue.

Other than that they have been NO help at all.

From what I have read in this and other foroums, the issue may be related to so many extra people being home using cable tv and Internet..

Thanks for your input

If you have more than one connection, then you have splitters( how else does the cable get to more than one location?).

True..
But all the lines are actually "split " outside in a Comcast junction box.
I was referring to the splitters that people buy and add to the cable themselves.
I know these type of splitters can cause issues..

So can the ones in the house box outside. It’s part of troubleshooting to check evetything. If you have done your due diligence, you’ll probably need a tech out, which because of the pandemic may be a bit
