New HD channels as of August 25, 2020

As of August 25, 2020, most Comcast areas should see several new HD channels if you did not already have HD versions of them. The new HD's will require X1 or streaming.

Cooking Channel HD, DIY HD, WGN HD, Pop HD, C-SPAN HD, Galavision HD, Smithsonian HD and Zona Futbol HD

The new HD's will be in the 1000+ range, although Zona is 3491.  (WGN is WGN America, not the real WGN in Chicago.)

Smithsonian isn't in HD in Nashville at least. The others are updated. (In HD now)

Discovery Family HD and Ovation HD are included in this for areas that didn't previously have them in HD as well.

None of these were added to 32448, Northwest Florida........... oh well..........maybe one day.

You need to have X1 box or a compatible customer owned divice and HD technology  fee in order to get these channels in HD 

if you already have those things above and still don't get the channels in HD than those HD channels  are most likely not available in HD in your area  yet

I have an X1 DVR and many other HD channels..... just none of the new ones...... I did get the last batch of new IP channels..... Recipe etc..etc... just none of the latest ones.
