MLB Extra Innings

I have been on 5 chats with xfinity trying to get MLB extra innings for my 90 year old dad. Some responders say that it's on xfinity without x1 and some say it isn't. MLB extra innings has been added 5 different times to our package. Does anyone know if we can get it without x1 box?  Dad is terrified of change and technology but doesn't want to miss his Mets. Thank you.

As far as I know, it’s been changed to being only available on X1 boxes

I ordered it by remote last Friday. They give us   July 23rd -30! You should try it again or call Xfinity
