MLB Extra Innings Playback not in HD

I've had an interesting dilema the past 2 years. I have the MLB Extra Innings Package, but work 2nd shift while the games are being played. I have Xfinity set to record all Yankee games, but when I watch them after they are recorded, they are in SD. I know about the MLB Beta to watch Live games in HD, but is there any way someone in my situation can watch previous recorded games in HD? I had DirecTV before I moved, and with the MLB Extra Innings Package, all games recorded in HD.
