Live Duke-UNC game had time skips (DVR recording had none)

Watching the Duke-NC game last Saturday there were numerous skips ahead in the live feed so that several plays (including the last play: a buzzer beater in overtime!) were skipped completely (the screen went blank for only a second and when the telecast resumed it was several plays later).

When I later watched what was captured on the set-top box DVR there were no skips (wierd that this could happen). Since this was not an ESPN problem, I can only surmise that someone at COMCAST/Exfinity wanted to hurry things along so they could show us the under-card fights running up to the main event fight later. As if, people in Georgia were more interested in a bantam-weight fight than the exciting finish of another episode of the greatest rivalry in sport!

It sounds like your recording is a cloud recording rather than a physical recording on the dvr ( 2 different sources).
