Intermittant loss of TV channel audio

I watch HD channel 3, 6, 10 and get intermittant loss of sound for about 5 seconds on the channel.  I have rebooted the system myself several times and also called Comcast to do a reboot on many occaions but the problem still exists. How can this be corrected?
