GET TV is gone??? (ch. 88 in Albq)

This morning we noticed GET TV is gone (ch 88 is now "PTLSD", religious channel I guess).  What happened to GET TV and if it's been removed why weren't we notified (I checked four months of past statements).  I've also "restarted" and "refreshed" a few times.  I would appreciate an answer.  Thank you.

It was a broadcaster issue in reference to the Original Post. If you are referring FETV, contract is up, two parties can’t agree. Comcast may not want to carry it anymore.

The owners of the channel can change the content anytime they want without notification, if that’s the case. Comcast can only broadcast what it’s given

SUBJECT CORRECTION:  My apologies, we still have GET Tv (395 in Albq); however, the usual shows that were on channel 88 (I cannot recall the channel name and the channel lineup says "Leased Access")....we would watch "Bewitched", "Wild Wild West", "Maude", "Barney Miller".

I sure would like to know, however, why it changed to a religious channel.  Are we not supposed to be notified when a "Leased Access" channel changes?  Frustrating, but in light of things these days, not surprising.  Thank you.

It was called WeTV, and I would also like to know why it has changed to PTLSD with no notice.  I was particularly attached to the Perry Mason re-runs.

See above, it’s your local affiliate that chooses what channels get broadcasted, Comcast just passes it on

This is absolutely not a broadcaster issue, it is a Comcast issue. We just lost channel 88 in the metro Denver area. It was FE TV, an oldies station (for example Perry Mason). It is now a religious station with no programming value.

I have some information from FE TV. They state “our channel would no longer be available in your market on Comcast against our wishes”. “We have made multiple offers to compensate Comcast for carriage, but to no avail”.
