Audio Fading In and Out
I have tried to resolve this with Xfinity several times. Rebooting the cable box several times and it has not resolved the problem. The audio fade is pronounced on ALL local channels and gets worse with time, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the programs, especially the HD channels. I have contacted the local television stations and they have all stated it is a problem with Xfinity.
Don't tell me to reboot the cable box again, it DOES NOT fix the problem.

I too have noticed this problem. I don't know if it's Comcast or it's WCVB ch.5 Boston or the parent network ABC. It fades in and out quickly and is annoying. I haven't said anything till now when I saw I wasn't alone in this.
I have not tried rebooting the cable box. I'll see if that helps.
