I called to make changes on my bill to increase it and ended up paying more with less service. Xfinity is the biggest company in my area and they are the biggest crooks. I called in to drop my home phone. I was told my premium channels will stay the same with a new package I signed up for. Well it didn't and now I had to add my premium channels a la cart and now I am paying a higher bill. I am currently looking for another provider.
You lost the discount for more than one service by dropping the phone.
Maybe he did or maybe not. For years Comcast told me if I dropped my landline my price would go up. Last June when I signed a new agreement Comcast said drop the landline and save $10 each month.

Did you replace the land-line with Comcast smart-phone service? That would still allow a discount for additional services,
