XfinityWifi - Successful login, failed network connection.

When I choose XfinityWifi with strong signal from device I have used for years and hopped easily onto nearest XWF hotspot – it now confirms login, but then says network error. This condition started a few weeks ago I think. Recently changed to stronger password.
