xfinity wifi hot spot

There is currently an issue with Xfinity WiFi hotspot at [Edited: "Personal Information"].

I used to be able to use the hotspot at my office. The service is not properly working.

I see the Xfinitywifi in my Wi-Fi connection, once I click on it, it does not connect.

It is not my phone issue, as I have no problem connecting to xfnitiywifi in other places.

Hope you guys can resolve the issue by fixing the router or having additional xfinity coverage set-up at [Edited: "Personal Information"] park area.

Thanks.

Thank you for posting your question here in the Xfinity Forum. All our public Xfinity WiFi hotspots are being broadcast via individual customer modems. This means that if they do not contact us about possible connection issues, we cannot troubleshoot their modem. There is a chance that the public WiFi hotspot was disabled by that customer. Have you attempted to "forget" that network (prevent it from auto-connecting) to see if it shows up again and is actually broadcasting? Additionally, you can find information about troubleshooting general Xfinity WiFi connectivity issues below.

Troubleshooting General Xfinity WiFi Connectivity

  • Many things can affect WiFi connections, including:
    • How close you are to the WiFi hotspot
    • Buildings, trees, or other things getting in the way
    • The device type.
  • If xfinitywifi isn’t on the list of available networks, you’re probably not at an Xfinity WiFi Hotspot.
    • Check the hotspot location map in the Xfinity app or online at wifi.xfinity.com or in the Xfinity WiFi Hotspots app for Apple and Android.
  • If xfinitywifi is on the available network list, and you still can't connect, check your device to see how many signal bars there are.
    • If you only have one or two bars, you might have to move closer to where the signal is coming from.
    • If you still can’t get online and your Xfinity ID and password are correct, it is possible that we’re having a service issue.

Additional information about Xfinity WiFi hotspots can be found here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet

If you are still experiencing issues connecting, then you may want to try connecting to another public Xfinity WiFi hotspot. To find local Xfinity WiFi Hotspots, simply enter your ZIP code on the Xfinity WiFi hotspot map to get started.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
