Xfinity, STOP CHANGING MY WI-FI SETTINGS

I have hidden my SSID at least twice, and completely disabled the Wi-Fi for the 2nd time today. I clicked "save settings" for each channel and made sure the Wi-Fi showed disabled before I logged out of the router. So tell me Xfinity, WHY DOES MY WI-FI KEEP BEING RE-ENABLED?? I DO NOT want to use Xfinity's Wi-Fi at all - MY equipment handles it. I find this highly suspicious and want an explanation as to why Xfinity keeps reenabling my Wi-Fi? I will be dumping you soon, as soon as Ting gets my lines in (delayed because of weather). [Edited: "Language"]! You have my email - send me an answer to my question.

Why do i keep getting messages that i'm breaking the rules by reaching out to support? I just want an answer to my question and when I clicked support, it sent me here.

@user_depkat @XfinityArmand

Be advised that sending an unrequested direct message to the support team is a violation of their forum guidelines. It may get ignored.

Please see this post about direct messaging the support team;

@EG i had no clue that i was "sending unrequested direct message" to a support team...how did i get here if i did not have permission, then? someone asked for my address to look into my complain, now you send me this "warning" again? How about someone look up my complain and answer my question?

so one person seems to want to help and then another sends a message that I'm breaking the rules. Get your stuff together, Xfinity.

@user_depkat As @EG has mentioned sending a direct message before being asked to send one is a violation of the Forums guideline. This rule is in place to help this forum be a peer to peer support system and we try to keep conversations as public as possible. When you make your first post, this does open up the DM option for you and why you were able to send one. Please note that we will continue to assist you through DMs with this issue, but if you need assistance in the future, please make a public post and wait for a peer or employee to respond.

I am an Official Xfinity Employee.

We ask that you post publicly so people with similar questions may benefit from the conversation.
