Xfinity Router issues

at random times everyday my internet will stop working and disconnect from every device in the house for about 6 minutes, before going back to normal. what does this mean?

Hello, @user_TRT

There can be many reasons for this intermittent connection issue. Have you taken advantage of the troubleshooting tools within the Xfinity App to resolve these issues? Running a speed test https://speedtest.xfinity.com/ on a device that is hardwired to your modem will let you know if it's a speed issue. Also, check your wiring for loose connections and power outlets that may be faulty. Try plugging your device into a different power source. Lastly, please describe for the community the modem(Xfinity or 3rd party) you are using and what the lights on the device are indicating when this disconnect occurs.
