Xfi storm ready

After resumption of service and normal gateway operation (XB7) the Storm Ready Wi-Fi does not return to standby mode

What do the lights on the Storm Ready device look like (color) and are on, off, flashing?

If the Storm-Ready light is Blinking White, and the modem light is Solid White, then the standby message is a false report and will eventually clear.

If the Storm-Ready light is Solid White, and the modem light is Solid White, remove the backup battery from the Storm Ready device, wait 5 seconds, and reconnect it to the device.

If the Storm-Ready light is Solid White, and the modem light is Blinking Amber or Off, the device is operating as expected and the core services are not yet back up.

The storm ready light stays solid white and the gateway has a solid white light as well. Devices plugged into the gateway operate normally. The app will continue to say “your gateway is offline and Storm ready is keeping you connected”. The Storm Ready never returns to standby. I end up having to “remove” the Storm Ready via the app in order to be able to get the app to show the status of the gateway.
