Xfi Pod

Anyone use the Xfi pod? Do you recommend it over on the market mesh devices? The food/ the bad? The ugly?

thanks.

Hello, @marksllc thank you for taking the time out of your day to create a post, I completely understand wanting to feed back before purchasing a WiFi boost pod. If you haven't checked the website we do have some information on the pods: https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/wifi/xfi-pod.

I have a newer generation Pod that I've used for the past couple of years, we have a metal roof which can cause dead spots throughout our house. With the pod active I'm able to connect in all areas of my house now, even upstairs where I had the most connection issues.

Our property is about 1/3 an acre, and when I'm mowing the lawn I'm able to connect to my WiFi for about 90% of the property as well since I listen to music. My WiFi Boost pod has definitely been beneficial for me.

thanks. I did not get a response back so I went ahead and got a different vendor which works better for my home network set up. I appreciate the feedback

Xfinity came out with a WiFi 6E, XB8 router but still, 2 years later, does not offer a WiFi 6E compliant, tri-band boost pod that is capable of using the 6 GHz band to backhaul their mesh ecosystem.  Nor, does it seem, that it is possible to use a second XB8 router/modem as a slave mode to the primary node.  What gives, Xfinity?
