Xfi Gateway Internet Issue
I updated my plan to 1200mbps and did the self installation for my Xfi Gateway. I have my PS5, iPhone 12 and my dads iPad and phone linked to the WiFi. My PC is connected with an Ethernet cable. The Xfinity app shows that everything is connected but when I test the speed going to my gateway it shows 0.00 of 1200mbps. Then pops up that something went wrong and the speed of the gateway is unavailable, so I continue to test devices and everything is connected with strong WiFi( my PC shows that it is wired with a strong connection). I click on the Gateway itself and it is online with speed to gate way being 0mbps and upload 0mbps and latency as 0 ms. When I look at the physical Gateway itself there is a solid white light. I reset the gateway with the Xfinity app, I made sure all the cables were attached properly, I manually reset the gateway. The only thing I didn’t connect from the box was the black internet cable. I used the one from my previous device, but Xfinity ran the line. Do I need to buy an adapter for the black cable provided so it can connect to the white one that I was previously using or is this some other problem. I don’t know what else to do.
