xFi Gateway Activation

I acquired a new Wi-fi  router / modem box and downloaded the Xfinity app  .

 I navigated to " guided activation "  .  Before I tap  " activate "  , what can I expect next ?  Should I connect the new cables & wires that came with it first ? 
Is it easy to [Edited: Language"] up ?

Guessing the issue has resolved by now since no additional posts, but just FYI, set up is relatively straightforward and instructions provided all over the Xfinity website and internet if that's not enough.

 If still encountering issues chat up Xfinity support.

 Just my .2 cents.

Hey , thanks for your .2 cents  .  I'm doing it tomorrow (Saturday 15 January ,

2022 )  .  The directions in the box says " easy , guided activation and offers 

a  24 / 7 real-time chat support ,  I have all the hardware & cables untangled & ready to go and cleaned the floor behind the TV  ❗️So I'm feeling more confident about it now .  If I run into trouble , you all will be the first to know .🙃
