XClass
How do I make sure that an X Class technician comes to my scheduled appointment with the right equipment and is able to troubleshoot?
Still having issues with my XClass. I need an XClass technician to come out and fix this. I need an XDR4 installed. The original XClass tech installed a xdr4 and 8 modem. The second tech that came out removed it. The guy that came today had a 10. All I needs is the 8. He wasn’t allowed to install the xdr4. I’ve been on the phone with an unqualified person from the Philippines who does not understand I’m trying to setup an appointment for a qualified XClass tech to come out and install the xdr4 that was originally here and figure out why my XClass internet keeps going out running at 1300 instead of 2000. This has been an issue for weeks, 4 techs have been out, 2 not qualified for X Class and couldn’t do anything.

Ummm, no offense, but why on Earth did you not get the XB10 installed? First, they’re not easy to get, and second, it’s a much better solution than an XD4 paired with an XB8. It’s literally designed for X-Class 500Mbps and higher, especially the 2 Gigabit service. The XD4 XB8 combo was simply a stopgap while awaiting the release of the XB10.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
