xB8 router

I’ve been recently upgraded to 2 Gbps internet but haven’t seen any increase on Wi-Fi speeds.  I currently have an XB7.  How do get an XB8 or better modem/router?

We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the Xb7 gateway with your 2 GB service. The gateway can be swapped out at a local store for one that supports the 2 GB speeds. We can also look into shipping one to you for a shipping fee.

@user_dysgk6 The shipping fee would be $15.00 add to the next billing statement. If you would like to proceed with having a modem shipped out please send us a direct message. As always there is no cost for pickup at a local store. 
To send a "Direct Message":
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
