xb8 modem
My modem was recently upgraded by Comcast as I had been contracted for 2GB internet, but the modem was not capable of delivering it.
Now I have an XB8 modem, and have confirmed 2GB service on the Comcast side of the modem. The problem is that the ethernet ports on the modem are 1GB ports, so if I am using it in bridge mode connected to my 10GB network, I am still getting throttled to 700-900 MBPS on my side of the modem. Is there any way to correct this?

On the XB8 3 ports are only 1 Gbps and will only run at 940 Mb or so. These cannot be increased. But the last port with the red dot or stripe should run at 2.5 Gbps.

Greetings @user_rjb4ky, and thanks for posting to the Xfinity forums, I hope this message finds you well. Like @BruceW mentioned, the forth ethernet port on the XB8 is a 2.5 Gbps port. Have you tried connecting the router to that port?
