Xb8 loses internet
I recently upgraded to an XB8. I have great Wi-Fi connection throughout my house, but when I go into other rooms the connection doesn’t have internet. If I come back near the XB8, I have to turn off Wi-Fi on my phone then turn it back on to get internet connection. Again, I don’t lose Wi-Fi, just internet is unavailable. I called customer service, spent half hour on phone with them, and they said nothing looks wrong on their end, they said they would submit the problem to someone else, who would call me back @@someday between 8am and I think 8 pm. Never heard back. I have tried rebooting the XB8.

well wireless can be a tricky sometimes. if you loose internet you probally have a bad signal strength. are you in a older construction house or newer. how many floors is the house? where is the modem/Router located. how is the signal strength in the far reaches of the house.
IF the signal is low far from the modem maybe try getting the xfinity pods.

There are other options. Google for WiFi repeaters / range extenders, WiFi mesh systems / pods, powerline ethernet adapters, MoCA adapters. Good luck !

Well the fact that when you came back by the Xb8 and have to manipulate the settings on your phone and not the Xb8, indicates to me, if your phone is setup and working correctly, it should automatically reconnect, since it doesn’t I would look at your phone…
