Xb8 connectivity issues

After receiving this modem a couple months ago, I started experiencing issues with certain devices. Sometimes they work fine, other times these specific devices will say connected without Internet, or the speed tests are so [Edited: Language] slow that nothing will load. 

I have restarted all devices including the gateway. 

I've removed these devices and readded. 

After all the reading I've done on issues with the xb8, similar to mine. I know there is something that can be done.

@user_06ef51 Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forum. Are you having issues with devices that are further away from the modem versus ones that are not?

@XfinityBenjaminM​ I'm in an apartment. Distance is relatively the same. Doesn't matter if I'm the same room as the gateway or the bedroom.

The 3 devices im having random problems with is 

A Linksys wifi extender on 5ghz

Google nest hub on 5gz

Samsung Galaxy tablet on 6ghz

All other devices are working properly to my knowledge.

after all having issues with my xb8, I'm exploring new options to replace it with my own hardware. 

To maintain the same speeds and keep the triband that the xb8 offers.. what are your recommendations?
