X class

My neighbor was just shipped the XB 10 modem but X class is not currently available in our neighborhood. Is it coming because they received that modem we’re on the same drop line divided by a splitter. I can’t seem to get answers from live chat I currently have the 2/250 plan

Hello user_u0n7et, thank you for your post here in our Xfinity Community forum. We appreciate you and your time, and I will be happy to help. The only reason I would pause on saying yes is the splitter. We would have to work out the details on that end with our techs, but we should be able to set you up once it rolls out.

What difference would a splitter make ? All lines are a shared medium everywhere anyway. Each modem is provisioned individually.

@user_u0n7et Once it does roll out you would receive a email when it does become available. The modem they received may have been an oversight by the warehouse team or a few different scenarios. We are happy to double-check your address for you if you would like us to, just let us know.

@user_u0n7et

If a neighbor that is on the same node / cable segment as you are on has it, then it's available to you as well.

@user_u0n7et  Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.To send a "Direct Message":
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
