First. Check their site for official info on any possible local outages here;

https://www.xfinity.com/support/status

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

Or you can use their Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps

user_txhx9b, Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. As someone who depends on my wifi to work for my job, I can undersand the importance of having your internet service working correctly. I am sorry to learn about this experience. You've knocked on the right door over virtual land. We are a team of experts in resolving wifi concerns over social media. Let's get this figured out.  To start narrowing it down, I need a bit more information from you:
  • Are any lights on your modem or router off, blinking, or a different color than usual?
  • Are you seeing no Wi‑Fi at all, or can you connect but there’s no internet?
  • Is this happening on all devices or just one?

Quick things you can try right now:

  1. Restart your modem and router
    Unplug both for 60 seconds, then plug the modem back in first. Once it’s fully online, plug the router back in.
  2. Make sure all cables are tight (especially the coax and power).
  3. If possible, try connecting one device directly with an Ethernet cable to see if it’s a Wi‑Fi issue or a full internet outage.

If it’s still not working after that, let us know and we’ll check the account, signal levels, and any interruptions right away.
