WiFi setup isn’t working

I tried setting up the Xfinity now modem but the lights keep blinking and won’t go stay white. I tried unplugging, re plugging everything back in, waited like 20 minutes and still nothing. Ai chatbot was no help.

Our ability to assist you with NOW services is limited.  Support for this service is usually handled through the  Xfinity NOW Support portal.  The Support portal can help you troubleshoot the services up to and including sending a technician to your location to determine if there is a service issue. 

Some suggestions you may wish to try - 

Re-seat the cables attached to the modem (and the wall.)  
Try a different coax port elsewhere in your home.  (Sometimes not all port are active or connected.) 

Be sure you have downloaded the Xfinity App and signed in (if you don't have an ID already, create one) and ensure you have activated the equipment under the "Got New Equipment to set up?" prompt within the app. 

Once you're connected to an active coaxial line, and activate your equipment in the App, it can take 10-15 minutes for everything to stabilize.  If all else fails after troubleshooting with the Assitant, it should allow you to schedule a technician if one is needed.
