They recently updated the gateway's firmware. You have to turn on admin access in the app now;

https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/admin-tool-access

It needs to have firmware version 5.62

Open the Xfinity App. (You'll need a working connection for this step).

Go to the WiFi tab.

Select View WiFi equipment and open Advanced Settings.

Select Admin Tool online access.

Slide the toggle button to Allow Admin Tool access (ON).

Select Save.

After that, you should be able to navigate to http://10.0.0.1

Hi there! Since you’re using your own modem and router, the Xfinity app won’t be able to manage your WiFi settings, which is why you’re being redirected and not seeing the device.

To update your WiFi settings, you’ll need to access your router’s own admin page. This is usually done by opening a web browser and entering the router’s IP address, then signing in with the router’s username and password. From there, you can change the WiFi name, password, security settings, and more.

If you’re not sure what router you have or how to access its settings, let us know the brand and model and we can point you in the right direction.
