wifi does not work for some devices
I'm experiencing an issue that appears to be common on the support forum: certain devices are unable to connect to my Wi-Fi, even though my computer, phones, and iPads work without any problems. There was a day when my Ring cameras suddenly stopped working on my Wi-Fi, and now I'm trying to set up a camera for my daughter's bird feeder, but it also won't connect. To rule out device issues, I tested cameras from two different vendors and confirmed that Xfinity Wi-Fi seems to be the source of the problem. I'm using the 2.4 GHz band with WPA2 security, and I even disabled the 5 GHz band to troubleshoot, but that didn’t help. Is it possible that Xfinity pushed a firmware update to my router that disrupted my Wi-Fi? What steps can I take to resolve this?

Hey there, @user_6d983h, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your WiFi connection. We would be happy to help you with troubleshooting. Are you using an Xfinity modem? Also, are you using a separate router or any WiFi extenders?
