Why is the comcast IP address I see on internet site a city that is 120 miles or 2 hours from my home

Sometimes my bank IP sniffer sees the IP address is a city that is far from my home.  Why is the comcast IP address I see on internet sites a city that is 120 miles or 2 hours from my home

IP geolocation information is often incorrect, sometimes wildly so. Websites get location information from third parties and it's a somewhat dark art. Essentially websites you provide location information to make extra $$$ by selling your location and IP address info to geolocation providers, who turn around and sell that information to companies who want to know where you are located.

It's common for different geolocation providers to report different locations. For grins, plug your public IP (from https://www.google.com/search?q=what+is+my+ip) into an IP geo comparison site like https://www.iplocation.net/ip-lookup, which returns locations from several providers. When I do that, 5 of the results are very close, 2 are 30 miles away, and one is 60 miles away. Not horrible, but not terribly accurate either. The results that site returns also has a "Incorrect location? Contact [provider]" link which may help you.
