why did my bill increase?
I have my own modem and signed up for the cheapest option available because I can't afford more that 25$ a month for internet.
Now all of the sudden I'm getting charge 45$ a month without notice.
I've tried asking the chatbot why my bill increased and it only replies with that my bill has increased... yeah obviously.
I tried using the messenger support and they sent me a link to an external chat on sprinklr.com and then they asked me for my 6 digit verification code that I received through text even though on those verification code texts it literally says "we will never request this code. do not share it with anyone." Whole thing feels really disjointed and unhelpful.
I just want my bill to go back down to 25$ a month. Can anyone help me out other than xfinity's sorry attempt at AI support?

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey there, frostbite999, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your account. I would be happy to take a look at your account and see what promotions we have available. I understand needing a bill in your budget. You have reached the right place. Can you please send us a Direct Message with your full name and your full address?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
