When will faster upload speeds be available in Metro-Detroit/Southeastern Michigan?
I was told two years ago that Southeastern Michigan (Metro-Detroit) was receiving upgrades for Comcast Internet.
While I am on the 1200 mbps package, my upload never goes over 41mbps.
Recently there were Comcast techs on-site and installing upgrades who said that my upload speed should be faster than this. I'm not convinced this is accurate so figured I'd post here and see what info anyone can glean for me.
Not sure if it matters but I am on a Hitron CODA DOCSIS 3.1 modem that, sadly, only has a single working gigabit connection despite having two ports and the ability to bond those ports to allow me to take advantage of the full 1.2gbps. :(
I tried to send this via direct message but am not seeing the option to do that anywhere on this site.

I guess I have a second question (though, maybe I should make it another post?):
How do I get access to the second port on my Hitron modem?
I reached out to Hitron who told me that Comcast disables admin access to the modem once it's activated on their network and to ask them to enable it for me and/or enable the LACP that would allow me to use both, bonded Ethernet ports and thus get access to the full 1.2gbps speed that I've been paying for.
My router supports bonding so it would be nice to actually take advantage of what I'm paying for and the equipment that I purchased.
