When will Arris S33 get 100MB upload (NextGen Speed)

I know this has been asked many times with no updates. Please escalate this. I know i'm not alone in looking for the speeds we pay for but aren't getting.

Is there any way to formally submit a request to engineering to certify it? Other cable companies have s33 as 100mb down. It's weird one of the largest in the nation doesn't.

@ninjapenguin with the tremendous amount of work it takes to get everyone the new faster upload and download speeds once construction is completed in your area you will be notified via email.

Had the same issue.   Was working just fine with my Arris S33 and 1G down/ 50M up service.   Then got convinced to try the new X-Class 2G down, 250M up service.   After ZERO guidance...and wondering WHY my S33 wasn't seeing any changes in speed...I found this...  Here:  X-Class from Xfinity

Can I use my own modem?

You won't be able to use your own modem if you purchase this service. Xfinity's X-Class Internet services include a compatible Gateway that provides the optimal speed to your home. Xfinity Gateways combine the technology of a modem and router into one piece of equipment, delivering in-home WiFi that’s fast and reliable. Other modems currently on the market  will not allow you to take advantage of the extremely fast upload and download speeds that X-Class offers. 
Not sure what the limitations the S33 might have with upload..    
So I bit the bullet and got the XB8 gateway and I am indeed seeing 250M upload speeds.....but No WAY am I getting 2G down..    As a matter of fact, my Arris S33 had faster average download speeds than the XB8.
