@user_o3ngdg Good morning! Thank you for reaching out for assistance with compatible modems. The reason we ask to go DM is, so we can check the address to be sure it's an EPON address. You will see the Arris X5001 is compatible with our EPON System.

user_o3ngdg the Arris X5001 and Xfinity Fiber Gateway (XF3) are the only approved devices for EPON service at this time, and they are leased-only devices.

@XfinityAlfonso@user_o3ngdgFWIW. The Arris X5001 and the XF3 are the same device. X5001 is the actual Arris-given model number, and XF3 is the Comcast given "Friendly Model Name".

They are not asking about the DOCSIS "next-gen speeds". They are asking about the "EPON System" / FTTH (Fiber To The Home) system.
